As of November 1^st, 2024, the first user of the 20cm Excellium Sphere, Alain Gravel, has not changed his SPA water for 3½ years, without using any chemicals. Chemical-free tests confirm that his SPA water is pure.

2. Design: This version of the Excellium Sphere uses a silicone base, replacing the Excellium Shungite base, to protect users' feet and toes while reducing cost.

3. Initial use with pure water: If your SPA is filled for the first time with pure water, no cleaning period is necessary.

4. How to use with chemically treated water: If your water contains chemicals (such as city water), a cleaning period is necessary before reaching the purity level maintained by the Sphere.

5. Cleaning duration: Cleaning time varies depending on the amount of chemicals, SPA water volume, and air circulation facilitating evaporation. Users report a cleaning duration ranging from ten days to a month and a half. Note that during this cleaning the SPA can still be used as chemical elimination happens gradually.

6. User observations for cleaning: After 24 hours of use, the water may become cloudy and viscous, especially if the cover is closed. To speed up cleaning, keep the SPA cover partially open to promote air circulation which will facilitate chemical evaporation. Several have mentioned having problems with leaves from trees. Some believe that the decomposition of these leaves slows down cleaning. It is therefore recommended to remove them as soon as possible.
